Since 2002, Jana has practiced asana and studied the principles of Yoga, and has experienced transformative effects from this Ancient path. She completed her Yoga Teacher Training at Main Fitness in 2017 and now teaches as a Yoga Alliance certified RYT 200hrs. Through her classes, Jana offers the benefits of Yoga along with inspiration, positivity, loving-kindness and joy.
Throughout the school year, in her role as an outdoor education specialist with the TDSB, Jana develops outdoor programs and leads students on experiential nature field trips. She also facilitates leadership weekends for high school students and runs awareness/mindfulness-based education retreats focused on social-emotional learning.
In the summer, Jana takes to the waterways as an accredited Paddle Canada standup paddleboard instructor and tour guide.
Everything Jana does is inspired by her love of life and the people around her, and she shares her passion for beauty, art, nature and peace in all of her endeavours. She looks forward to practicing with you all!
